God does unbelievable things. He saves sinners, changes lives, and answersprayers in powerful ways. As followers of Jesus, we believe this. Look atus- we are examples of His incredible work! We were once sinners, but bythe forgiveness of sin through Jesus, we are declared saints in God‘s eyes!
Our eternal destination has changed. The power of sin has been broken.
Our lives have meaning and purpose. We are a part of God‘s plan and ad-opted into His family in which we are eternally loved! Praise God for what He has done! - P71

44The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go." - P65

Martha is focused on the odor that will come from the cave, but Jesus reminds her of the importance of faith in seeing God’s amazing work. Sometimes we focus more on the negative details of a situation rather than believing in God’s ability to reveal His glory.  - P66

When we encounter difficult realities, let us shift our perspective to our all-powerful God.  - P66

Just as Jesus is able to grant physical life, He is able to grant eternal life. With the resurrection of one man, Jesus also foreshadows the resurrection of all His people on the last day. Those who believe in Him are assured of life even after death. - P66

He walks up to them, speaks with them, and weeps with them. When wesee someone grieving, it is an opportunity to extend the sympathy, love,
and comfort of Christ. When we grieve ourselves, we are reminded to takecomfort in our loved ones and in the knowledge that God grieves with us. - P67

Pain and suffering are never ...

Pain and suffering are never easy, but God uses these things to shape andgrow our faith in Him. What we need to do is trust in Him. And whenwe find ourselves struggling to do so, we can pray, "Help me overcome myunbelief" (Mark 9:24). - P56

was a word from Jesus. But Jesus‘ timing works according to God‘s gloryrather than human expectations. When we are suffering, we often wonderwhy God takes so long to deliver us. But God already sees the end fromthe beginning. His plans for our lives are designed for His glory and ourgreatest good - P56

Just like Mary, we are able to glorify Jesus in our acts of service. We can participate in building up His kingdom and fulfilling the plan of God. May we do so with the same kind of devotion and zeal that Mary had in honoring Christ. - P74

Because of the resurrection of Lazarus, many people believe in Jesus. They see Him as a miracle worker, but the religious leaders view Lazarus and Jesus as threats to their power. - P74

With the help of the Holy Spirit, our words and actions can reflect the love and character of Jesus and inspire hearts to turn toward Him. - P74
