Jesus declares thateternal life is knowing God and Jesus Christ. - P23
Jesus has completed the workgiven to Him and revealed the Father to His disciples, who have accepted Hiswords and believed that He was sent by God. - P23
He always acts for His glory first and foremost, and because of His perfect character, His glory works for our good. When a God who is always and only good, who knows no darkness at all, and is all wise and sovereign—when such a God acts for His glory, all who belong to Him benefit. - P24
Do you believe that you benefit when God acts for His glory? Ask God to give you a better understanding of how His glory works for your good. - P24
To put it another way, knowing the name of the Father as revealedy the Son is the means for the saints to be saved. This is the mission thatesus came to accomplish, and it was ultimately completed on the cross. - P24
When His name is made known, the result is nothing short of eternal life. - P24
may pray with gladness the prayer You taught us: Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done—in my heart, in this life, as it is in heaven. In Jesus’ name, amen. - P24
